Episode 4 : No strings attached

The flight was a bit tiring but what frustrated me more was returning home to see my wife's face full of disgust and dissatisfaction seeing me. Since last 1.5 yrs this became a normal thing for us. Though we stayed under the same roof but there were no strings attached between us anymore.
I completed my dinner, took my dog for a night stroll around the huge township compound. When I came back, I saw Rupa's room is already locked, she must be inside having romantic mushy conversations with her boyfriend over the phone. Lol!... Got used to this now. I checked my kids' room, both were sleeping peacefully, those innocently pure souls were the only thing which was holding me back to this broken marriage. I felt like I am the only one holding the rope tight for my kids' future. I didn't want them to fall apart and live a disturbed childhood. Even if this requires taking up all the responsibilities of them single handedly yet pretending to be happily married, then be it so!...
