Slipping my feet into my flip flops and standing up, I walked to my closet where I snatched my pink nightgown from a collection of baby pink nightgowns.
Fixing my hair into a messy bun, I quickened my steps to the door and grabbed the cold metal of the doorknob. Squeezing it to the left, I made my way down the countless stairs.
