The diamond necklace on the mannequin looked familiar. She placed her palm on the window that separated them and leaned in closer, tilting her forehead into the glass.
She, head tilted, nudged herself off the window and took tiny steps back. She started with her legs, attempting to align their reflection with the mannequin's. Next, the hips, followed by her torso and upper body. She began to, incrementally, attempt to reflect the mannequin's couture pose as if it was her necklace.
She turned to the left, and smiling began to continue on to work, as a notary.
