Strange leaves
Fascination stirred with fear as the people in,the town feared to go near it and to even take a look that would bury them,it was not a person,not a place,but what was it?,Was the biggest question as the fascination grew day by day,The news spread to various cities and it was creating a chaos for all the journalists and reporters to get them going there,but no one would like to talk about it and the very idea of even going near it would be a waste of time,but no one would dare to go near it,as it was in the outskirts of the small town,rumour has it,as your going near it you might get too insane!Because the strange fragrance was hypnotizing and compelling to go near it,there were many teenage daredevils from the small town who did a dare and got lost into it,and never came back,some were being hospitalized for their strange obssesion about the fragrance that makes them go crazy as they were close to it and singing the songs no one knew of was really strange.
The towns mayor was forced to address the situation as the main audience that were being affected were,The younsters as he himself had two teenage daughters but some how confined them not to go visit the strange place,little did everyone know that it was the fall and the strange occurings happens every fall and the youngsters are always targeted in the insanity and everything is back to normal once the fall is gone since the fall was approaching,the mayor was forced to make a decision regarding the ongoing phenomenon thats ruining the teens of the town.
From the neighbouring city there was a young aspiring journalist who was into major investigations,he worked as a spy and was collecting all sorts of information since he heard of,the strange occurance of the town and the only reason he was asking his coordinates to give him a grant to go visit the place,was really very courageous and he did get a grant from the headquaters to go make a visit to the strange place and make a report out of it,the fall had already begun the madness was already starting to go haywire he goes to the place curious and wanting to know everything,the mayor invites him and briefs him about the strange things happening only during the fall and how all the townsmen are scared of it,determined to go near it was the young journalist,the night was ready waiting for him since the place is far away from the town he makes sure he leaves early that is one past four in the noon and reaches there by evening,as hes approaching the place and was very much aware of the madness the hypnotizing songs,the fragrance,he made sure he covered his nose his ears and did take guns and grenades as a precautionary move,he is approaching the place but is oblivious because since his nose and ears are covered up and he looks at the ground beneath its covered with red ashes, and its only near the strange place,hes close to the place and strange leaves keep falling,he tries to pick a leaf of the ground covered with red ashes,was eye shaped it was a single leaf crying,he picked a another leaf it was in a form of a heart, it did have a heart beat but it did melt in his hands, and another leaf in form of a human face,there were many strange leaves falling out of no where,the journalist did take pictures of it but,he did go deep into the strange leaves path to find the tree,but it was pointless,somehow his mask had fallen of his face and,The fragrance had seeped into his soul and the endless singing of angelic voices made him go crazy he was euphoric,crying dancing hallucinating things, the strange leaves grew in number so did the madness.
The mayor and the townsmen waited for the return of the journalist,so did his coordinaters,weeks passed,months passed,it was a year now since the journalist was missing,no one knew what happened to him,but the coordinator of the journalist did receive a envelope every month with a strange leaf,does this mean The young journalist is alive? Did he survive the strange leaves madness? Is he coming back? Is he lost?,no one knows apart from the strange leaves..!!!
