Human beings are gifted with an Advanced Brain. Are they really..?
Is it a gift?
We have a fully developed 1350cc brain by the time we're 10. The Frontal lobe gets in all the creative ideas. The Parietal lobe takes care of pain. The Temporal lobe is responsible for hearing. And last but not the least, the Occipital lobe at the back allows you to see.
This was just a teeny tiny portion of what our brains can do. Of course, our Brain being the best control centre is able the put all the information together and respond in an efficient manner.
At the same time, we are provided with memories. Damn the Hippocampus!
It has to convert the short term memories into the long ones. Your loss if it's functional...
All I'm saying is...complexities increase with higher organisms. Things change. Shouldn't it be easier then..?
Yet, we struggle to keep sane...
How come, we no longer consider it a bane, now that we know that isn't all what life is about?
Why is it that our "advanced" brains are unable to get through the Blanket Alert!
Sorry, it's not a real thing.
There is a blanket of misunderstandings all around us you see. Sometimes, we want to believe in something so badly that we start thinking it to be true. That's what the Blanket does. Seeing is not Believing.
Our brain is smart but naive. There is just so much we still don't understand...
Yet, we have come to believe that We are the most Advanced Species on this planet..
