Chapter Sixteen

Lana's P.O.V

"Where did Mark take Candy!?"I yelled.
"How am I supposed to know?"he asked me.
"He is your brother!"I said.
"And I don't know everything about him, the only sibling I was close to was Aby and she's gone"he said.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to bring her up"I said.
"Its ok"he said.
"Can you tell me about her?"I asked.

He looked at me.

"If you don't mind, I'm totally ok if you don't want to"I said.
"Come with me"he said and walked off.

I followed behind.

"Aby was the youngest of all of us, she was always positive about things until one day I saw her in her room crying. When I went to her and ask her what's wrong she just put a smile on her face and said she was ok."He said.


We entered a room.

"This room belonged to her."he said.

I looked around

It was empty, But clean. There wasn't a bed, closet... Nothing.

"Why is it-"
"Empty? After she died my parents cleaned her room, it's like she wasn't born they don't even let Sophie in here."he said.
"Oh"
"The day I came in here and say her crying and she said she was ok, I knew she wasn't she had her phone in her hand I took it from her turns out someone was threatening her. They said that 'people like her and all of us where to be extinct. We should not be able to breathe same air humans do, we should not walk on this earth'. Even though that unknown person was giving her threats she still kept positive she didn't care she looked out for us more that she looked out for herself and then she had a baby that was the happiest she had ever been. She named her Sophie each letter of her name with a meaning. S-spectacular O-outstanding P- perfect H-helpful I-incredible and E-extraordinary. She loved Sophie so much. Most vampires are not born showing there red eyes but Sophie showed hers Aby smiled when she saw it. Then she said 'Im going to train you little one, you are going to be extraordinary like the E in your name' When Sophie turned 3 she knew the roles of being a Vampire, sometimes we would go for runs or go hunting she was in full control. Aby was still getting those messages and I knew she still ignored them I told her that she shouldn't and that she should make me pay the person a little visit but she said no. She told me to keep it between the both of us. Until one day I came home from school late my parents told me that they found Aby's body dead in the forest I was angry yelled at them asking who killed her they gave me her phone the last text message from the unknown person was 'I told you I'd kill you and and I'm coming after all of you next' I asked kylo to hack the phone he found out who it was my parents begged me not to go and that it was just gonna start another war. I told them that I had no choice they kept on begging me but the anger took over I went and killed that hunter I didn't even drink his blood. I just killed him and left him I didn't clean up the mess I just let it stay as it is."
"I'm so sorry"I said.
"Don't say your sorry, you didn't kill her"he said.
"You'll do anything for the person you love?"I said.
"Yes, same as how I'm going to kill Alex"
"Lets please not talk about him"I said.
"We should go now"he said.
"ok"I said.

We both walked out of her room.

"Lana I need to tell you something"Nathan said.
"Ok?"I said nervously.
"My parents thought it would be a good idea for you...us to go back to school, that way you get your education and graduate and the cops don't get any suspicious ideas."he said.
"And now that candy is gone"I said.
"Don't say it like she's dead"Nathan said.
"She is dead!"I said and sighted "I'm sorry I didn't mean it that way"
"I understand"he said.
"She didn't know, she wanted to know and I wanted to tell her."I said.
"Mark told her"Nathan said.
"I know, I just wished he didn't turn her"I said.
"Do you want me to turn you to make it even?"he asked.

I know he was only joking but is wasn't funny.

"No! I do not want to be like that! I don't want to be a V-"

I looked into his eyes and realized that he was hurt by what I said.

"I'm s-"

He just walked away.

I didn't mean it that way, I didn't want to hurt him.

I just went back to my room and sat down on my bed.

"You have problems"I heard a voice said. I looked up and saw kylo.
"What dose that mean?"I asked.
"He was only joking ya' know"he said.
"I wasn't in the mood"I said.
"How comes, you seemed angry he was just trying go get you to calm down"he said.
"I am calm!"I yelled.
"Yeah, I'm sure you are"he said.
"Wait! how do you know about that were you ears dropping?"
"Maybe"he said.

I rolled my eyes.

"Do you know what Nathan's doing right now?"he asked.
"No, What?"
"He is angry but mostly not at you"he said.
"Who is he angry at?"I asked.
"Knowing him he's always angry when you walked into his life he actually smiles and I'm telling you it's creepy seeing him smile"

I laughed.

"Are you scared of him?"I asked.
"No"he said.
"Back to what we were talking about, who is Nathan angry at?"I asked.
"If I had to guess I'm gonna say Mark,Alex, you and Aby's killer even if he's dead"he said.
"How is he supposed to be angry at me?"I asked.
"Not every relationship floats on the clouds sometimes they hit the ground, you two need yo find your way back up to the clouds"Kylo said.
"And if we don't?"I asked.
"You relationship is over and btw Nathan is in the forest killing every single living thing he comes across even if it's a cute little bunny who's on its way back go it's parents."Kylo
"What if he stumbles across a human?"I asked.
"He dos'nt only kill guilty people"he said.
"That's a lie for every single person he killed there was a really good explanation about it"I said.
"I guess you know him more that I do"kylo said.
"When will he be back?"I asked.
"Don't know, but I'm try and get his anger off you"kylo said.
"I also don't believe that, No way Nathan is angry at me all I said was 'I dont want to be like that' and I stopped talking when I realized how harsh I sounded"I told him.
"But do you know how he feels?"he asked me.
"Angry?"
"Lana he's a Vampire you just told him that you don't want to be like him yelling it. That is also you saying that he's a monster and you don't want to be that"kylo said.

I stayed silent I looked down.

"I hurt his feelings?"I said softly.
"Yeah, but I'm sure he'll come around. I'm gonna leave you now"he said.

He walked out of my room I waited to hear the door shut but it didn't. I sat up hugging my knees placing my head on them as a tear ran down my face. I felt someone's arm rapped around me.

"Kylo...please.. just leave me alone...."I said stumbling over my words.
"It's me"he said.

It's not kylo it's.....Nathan???

I slowly turned around I didn't look at him I just dived into his lap rapping my arms around his not letting him go. He rapped his arms around my waste.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean what I said."I told him.
"Its ok"he said.
"No it's not"I said.

I looked up at him.

"I hurt you with my words and I shoudn't have. I'm really sorry"I said.
"Lana, it's ok I promise. Just please don't say that again okay?"he said.
"Okay"I said.

I rapped back my arms around him and placed my head in his shoulder and closed my eyes.
