Episode 16

Doors open, I walk out of the elevator. I search for Kabir. I call him.
"Hello"

"Kabir, where are you?"

"Outside"

"Okay, I am coming"

"You don't sound good what happened?"

"I'll tell you"

"Okay, I also have something to tell you"

"Okay I am coming, wait for me at the gate"

"Okay"

I walk to the gate. Kabir stands there. He looks at me and waves. I couldn't contain my sadness. Tears flow out from corners of my eyes and roll down to my jawline. I run to Kabir.

"Are you okay?", he asks.

I shake my head. Kabir stops a cab. we get in.

"You wanna go home?" , he asks with concern in his eyes.

I shake my head again.

"To the nearest coffee shop please", he says to the driver.

We sit silently in the cab. After 5 minutes of drive, driver pulls the cab in front of a coffee shop named "Coffee Town".
It's a small open coffee shop. people sit in the green lawn. White tables and chairs scattered in the lawn. It looked pretty decent. I step out, Kabir says the driver. We go inside.
Kabir finds us a table. I sit there blankly staring at the table.
Kabir sits in front of me.
"Tell me", he says.

"Kabir, I am sorry", I burst into tears.

"What happened in the office, Candace? "

"I saw Mr.Carter and Teena..."

"Teena? "

"Yes"

"What was Teena doing there? "

"I don't know. I saw them hugging each other "

"Okay and? "

"And? ", I almost shout.

The waiter keeps two cups of coffee on the table. He gives me a look and walks away.
I contain my anger for a few moments.
