Being a child of God doesn't mean you're His best friend. "God has many sons and daughters, but few are His friends" - Faith Oyedepo. Become serious with God if you really want to be His best friend.

Jeremiah 29:13 says, "When you come looking for me, you'll find me. "Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else..."[MSB]. There must be an unending desire in us if we really want to be God's best friends.

Many people become God's children and remain in that realm forever. Forgetting that God wants them to be practically intimate with Him than just believing that they are His children. Friendship and family are not the same.

God's wants us to be His best friends and if we don't become serious at this, we wouldn't never attain it. He gives us the grace to access His deep friendship, but it takes our earnest desire to make it real in our lives.

Don't stop seeking God, keep looking for Him and you will find Him to be the best friend you could ever have.
