Waveborn- Fourteen
Grabbing ahold of Delmare's hand, he smiled over at me, his eyes burning gold. I let out a nervous laugh as he pulled me to his side, grabbing ahold of my waist as he pulled me closer, kissing me softly on my cheek as I laid my head on his shoulder. I just need a moment, this was a lot to take in.

"I know." He whispered, "Take all the time you need."

"It's just, I just found out I'm pregnant and now I have to meet your parents and I'll eventually rule a kingdom I know nothing about. It's a lot to take in and I'm worried that I'll make a fool of myself or that you'll parents won't like me. What if they hate me? I immediately stopped fidgeting, frozen in place as she came towards me and placed her warm hand across my cheek before quickly hugging me. The comfort I felt immediately consuming me as I began to relax, almost certain that there was no reason to be worried at all as I wrapped my arms around her as well.

"It's good to finally meet you, Anna." She smiled, her eyes shining bright, "I was hoping we could have tea tomorrow, so we can get to know each other better." She turned to the merman who hadn't moved who I assumed was the king. His hair was as black as Delmare's and I could see where Delmare got his looks from, he was definitely a mix of both of his...
