We need telephone to dial the one number to talk to someone,but why talk?because we're humans who communicate,and that too long distance,but why distance,asks my logical/philosophical mind,because we need work to do,we can't always be at one place.But are numbers so important?can't we dial a button and just speak?or speak face to face?or is it necessary that a particular number connects to a particular phone?no need,just pick up the phone and talk.Why go through the laborious process of explaining this number is not mine,but somebody else's,and another number is.So the point is trunk calling, STD codes,individual codes,etc. don't fucking matter unless you want to help the needy. If you'd so much time to install one, you'd have that much to care about the place where you installed it,and not about where you didn't install(somewhere else).
