Hold on to your dream

I have a friend named Monty Roberts who owns a horse farm in San Isidro. I have been allowed to use his home to host fundraising events to raise money for at-risk youth.
The last time I was there, he showed me, "I want to tell you why I let Jack use my horse. Stable to Stable, race track to racing, farm to farm and farm to farm, training horses that interrupted the boy's high school career. As an adult, he was asked to write an essay about what he wanted to be when he was an adult.
"That night he wrote a seven-page essay detailing his goal of owning a horse farm one day. He wrote about his dream and drew a plan of a 200-acre farm that would showing the location of all the houses and the track for the 4,000 square meter house on the 200 acre dream farm.
“He worked hard on this project and gave it to his teacher the next day. Two days later he returned the paper. On the front was a big red F with a note saying "See me after class".

The boy who dreamed went to the teacher after school and asked, "Why did I get an F?"

"This is an impossible dream for a child like you," said the teacher. no money You come from a traveling family. We don't have the resources.” Owning a horse farm is a lot of money. You have to buy the land. You have to pay for original breeding stock and then you pay high breeding fees. There is no way you can. The teacher added, "If you rewrite this essay with a more realistic goal, I will reconsider your grade."

"The boy returned home and thought carefully and asked his father what he should do. "Look, son, you have to think about this," said the father. However, I think this is an important decision for you. "Finally, after being with him for a week, the guy changed the same sheet, and there was no difference.
"You can keep the F and my dream will continue," he said.

Monty turned to the assembled group and said, "I'm telling you this story as you sit in my 4,000 square foot house in the middle of my 200 acre horse farm." The best part of the story is that two summers ago, a school teacher took 30 children to my farm for a week," he added. When the teacher left, he said he said, “Look, Monty, I can tell you right now, when I was a teacher, I was a dream thief. In those years I stole the dreams of many children. Fortunately, you had the courage not to give yourself up."

Moral: Don't let anyone steal your dreams. Follow your heart, no dream is too big or too small for anyone to try to live. People should always try to achieve their dreams no matter what.
