My Risky Decision
I heard my parents arguing about something that was none of my business, so I saw this as the perfect opportunity to slip out. thankfully, my phone was nearly full but it was enough to take me through the whole journey and back
FLASHBACK:
I was in the hostel studying for a presentation I had in a few weeks when I was greeted by a lecturer who told me that I was being suspended, when I asked why, he said he didn't know and they wouldn't tell him, he said he was asked to deliver the message to me and tell me to leave the premises in the next hour, "For how long will I be gone?", I asked the lecturer, "A month", he simply said, "A month, how am I supposed to cope with that, I have a presentation in a few weeks and I'm being suspended for a month for a crime I know nothing about, It's not fair sir", I said trying to smart him to let me stay, "I know but there's nothing we can do, if you're not out by the next hour, all your things will be moved out, and as for your presentation, I spoke with your lecturer and he agreed to postpone it till you return", Thank you sir", I said as I prepared my things to start leaving.
I finished packing the things I needed, although I didn't take all my things with me, "Sir please before I leave, can I see my friend", I said, he nodded and asked me his name, I mentioned it to him and he told me to wait for him. A few minutes later, he came back with him(my friend), and I told the lecturer to give us some time alone, he nodded and told me to be fast that I only have a few minutes before they come to check if I've left, I nodded and thanked him again before he left. "What's going on and whose coming to see if you've left?", my friend asked me confused, "I briefed him on the situation, and after my story, he wore a face of shock, "Did they tell you what your crime was?", he asked, "They didn't tell me that either.
