Not that innocent
Chapter 6
She just arrived to the party. This party was different than the parties she usually would go to. She had never been in a high school party before. She walked through the door. The music wasn't really loud. She looked around and saw Mark and Jo sitting in a corner.
"Hey, Claire" Mark shout to her " What are you doing standing in the doorway. Come over here."
What else could she do? She started walking towards them.
"Hey, how are you ?"Jo said
"Great"
"You seem kinda off the mood" Mark said
"Well the truth is that I haven't been in a school party for a long time.I am not an outgoing person."
"Yes, I feel you" Jo said.
"Well I am gonna leave you two with your sad thoughts and go meet new people. Have fun" he said and left them.
"Is he always acting like this?"
"Well yeah, but you will get used to it"
"I hope so" she smiled
"Do you have an account on Instagram or Snapchat?"
And that was the question that make her froze. She had thought of everything except from that. What could she say ? She could say the truth. She could say that the police has been chasing her for years and having a social media account would be easier for them to trace her.
"Weeell..."she said " I.. I don't really like the whole social media idea. But i have a cellphone if you want my number?"
"Sure that would be great"he said and smiled.
He stopped talking and just stared at her. She was looking beautiful. She was wearing a black gorgeous dress that flattered her whole body. As he was looking at her he noticed a scar on her right solder.
"Hey, where did you get that scar?"
Here we go again with the questions. Well this time she had thought about it.
"When I was a kid we had a little garden in our house. Me, my brother and my sister who has passed away used to play there all the time. Well in my garden we had a fence and behind that fence there was a really beautiful garden which had a swing. We wanted to go there so bad but our parents wouldn't let us. So one night me and my siblings decided to climb under the fence and go to play in the garden. Let's say that this wasn't the best idea." she smiled.
"I... really like hearing about your childhood"
