The "Crazy" Ghost Girl. (Part One)
A short story.
Everything was normal in my life. I was kind of just like everyone else. I like to keep to myself, I have good grades, I just started highschool. Except there was one thing that made me different... I see ghosts, spirits, the supernatural whatever you want to call it. I know what you're thinking before you judge, hear me out. It all started in 2nd grade when my older brother died in an accident. I would see him, he would read me bedtime stories and everything. I would tell my parents about it all the time but they would just say “Shes griefing.” I started to believe them too. I convinced myself I was griefing then eventually he slowly faded away. But then I started seeing people everywhere that weren't there. I would point to the people and everyone would tell me they weren't there. Around 5th grade my mom told me it was about time I stopped having “imaginary friends.” I decided it would be easier on everyone if I just shut my mouth. Sometimes it would be hard to tell who was human and who was a spirit. Which got me named “Hailey The School Freak” which didn't bother me that much. I don't really have friends, at least human ones. I have a spirit friend named Pablo. He's pretty chill. He shows up whenever and we go on adventures through the woods sometimes.
He's been around for about 3 years now so we're close. My parents get worried about me sometimes. I've talked about Pablo so much but they dont know he's a spirit. They tell me he should come over sometime little do they know he's sitting on the counter right next to them.
So tomorrow my parents arranged for me to go to a Therapist. I'm probably just gonna lie and say yeah im happy im fine like every time i've been sent to a therapist.

It was about 3rd period when the announcements said “Send Hailey Crook To The Councillor.” I got up and grabbed my things and went down there. I walked in and it was a new lady this time around her 50’s. The councilors office always confused me their was so many toys and childish decorations on the wall. “Hello Hailey thankyou for seeing me today” I just smiled. “I've been reading through your files-” When anyone says they've read my files i know they think i'm crazy. That file is filled with so many disorders I stopped counting at this point. “I see you have a lot on your mind you know nobody knows what happens in this room.” They say that every time but yet there's still a hidden camera in the corner of the room. “I'm all good thankyou for the concern” I said getting up “Ms.Crook you're not allowed to leave until your hour is up. “Tell me about your day.” At that moment a man walked in but the counselor didn't seem to notice him so I figured he's a spirit.
I tried to ignore him but he sat there talking and talking and poking me. “You look frustrated Hailey” she said to me while writing something down. “Im just tired I stayed up late watching tv.” One fact that most people get wrong about spirits is that they can't hurt you. They can ive had multiple broken arms and scars to prove it. Right now the only thing I had on my mind is how sore my arm was getting from him poking me. I tried to listen and be normal listening to the councillor speak but I lost it. I turned next to me and yelled “Shut the fuck up!” the man got mad and pushed my chair and then he left. The counselor was genuinely concerned as I got up from the floor. “Who were you talking too?” she said picking up her pen waiting for a response. “Did you not see him push my chair?!” she stared at me “I saw you tip your chair. Who is he?” Sometimes I wonder about the human population. “Nobody nevermind” I picked up my bag and opened the door “Hailey our time isn't up!” I just left I know I would probably have to go back there again...
