*phone rings* Arjun, slightly discomforted by the noise, covers his face with the blanket in an effort to avoid the disturbance.
*phone rings* *door bangs*
*door bangs* in an increased volume and pace;
Irritated by the noise, Arjun uncovers himself from the blanket, gets off the bed and opens the door.

He sees, Rahul, his roommate, with a disappointed and angry look. Rahul goes, "What the fuck is wrong with you bro?!"

Arjun, avoiding eye contact and walking back to his bed, says, "Everything"

Rahul: "Do you even remember what you did last night? If the warden finds out, or someone in the hostel complains, you'll be suspended from the college"

Arjun, sitting on his bed, tries to recall what he did the last night, all he can recall, were blurred images of him talking about Shreya and how she never deserved the kind of love he showed to her.

Arjun, facing Rahul, "But, what happened? I can't remember anything"

Rahul: "Ofcourse, you don't! You got wasted like a Devdas in movies, all that was missing was a dog in your arms"

Arjun: "Okay, come to the point, what's this bull shit business about the warden you brought up?

Rahul: "You.." *gets cut by Arjun"

Arjun: "I think you should start from the very beginning, I don't seem to recall anything"

Rahul sighing in a helpless manner, proceeds to sit infront of Arjun, and goes, " Dude, you were a mess yesterday, I think we shouldn't have let you join the party knowing that you had a breakup on the same day. Sandeep is very upset, you made his birthday party your breakup mourning ceremony. You didn't stop there, you even picked up a fight with this stranger in the Bar, you were so high that getting you inside the hostel was no less than an FBI mission"

Arjun, interrupts again, "That's it? What's there in this to make such a fuss about ?

Rahul: "Let me complete, after bringing you in with so much difficulty, we made you lie on your bed thinking you dozed off. After that, we went to Sandeep's room and resumed partying, at around 2 AM, we heard noises of someone screaming near the warden's guest house. It was you, you were cursing him for not granting you permission to leave the hostel premises on 23rd September."

As Rahul continues speaking, Arjun closes his eyes and recalls that day

* A text conversation between Shreya and Arjun on 23rd September *

Arjun: "Happy Birthday Shreya, I miss you so much, I wish I was there to give you a hug"

Shreya: "Thank you. I miss you too. I really thought you'll come and meet me since I insisted on it"

Arjun: "I really wanted to, but this warden didn't let me but I genuinely tried my best"

Shreya: "Hmmm.. anyways, I forgot to tell you that Ashish gifted me a beautiful watch. Infact, he gave me such a pleasant surprise by coming to my house with flowers, we even went out on a long drive"

Arjun: "Oh, I don't understand why that dog keeps wagging his tail for you"

Shreya: "Shutup Arjun, he's a childhood friend. I've known him for 10 years, even both our parents are friends, he's like family"

Arjun: "Fuck it, I don't care, you are mine, and he should stay in his fucking limits"

Shreya: "Watch your language Arjun"

Arjun: "What? I should watch my language? You should stay watch your behaviour. What were you thinking going on a long drive with him?"

Shreya: "That's my choice, you don't need to know everything that happens in my life"

Arjun: "Wow, amazing, and here I am, who tells you every fucking thing about my life. So, tell me, what else were you hiding these days? I've never confronted you Shreya, but a lot of my friends warned me about you, a few of them even spotted you being close with Ashish"

Shreya: "So, you're also spying on me now!"

"We're over Arjun, this is it. Thanks for making it easier for me"

"Ashish was right, I deserve better! ".

Arjun: "Are you out of your mind?"

Arjun notices his message displaying a single tick. He also can't see Shreya's Dp anymore, he immediately calls her, only to realize that he was blocked.

*Rahul places a hand on Arjun's shoulder and shakes him, in an effort to snap Arjun out*

Rahul, snapping his fingers, "Bro, where are you?"

Arjun: "I'm sorry man" *with teary eyes*

Wiping the couple of tears on his face, Arjun immediately gets up and walks out of the room

Rahul looks at Arjun in a helpless manner and recalls Arjun, the happy go lucky guy, he knew a year ago
