(New York)Subway Bomber
INT. NEW YORK CITY SUBWAY STATION - DAY
"Stop it Sergeant Williams, you'll kill him!"

The crowded subway station hums with the sounds of foot traffic and rumbling trains. JAMES "JIMMY" CONNOR (early 30s), wearing a dark hoodie and carrying a suspiciously large backpack, moves nervously through the throngs of people. His eyes dart from side to side as he approaches a crowded platform.

The Manhattan Police Subway Guards, SERGEANT RAY WILLIAMS (late 40s) and OFFICER JAKE "ROOKIE" O'BRIEN (mid-20s), are stationed near the stairs.

SGT. WILLIAMS
(eyeing the crowd)
"O'Brien, you see that guy in the hoodie by the turnstiles?"

OFFICER O'BRIEN
(nods, adjusting his cap)
"Yeah, Sarge. He’s moving like he’s got something to hide."

SGT. WILLIAMS
(into his radio)
"Central, this is Unit 211. Possible suspect on the 42nd Street platform. Male, early 30s, Caucasian, hoodie, black backpack.

"I got a bad feeling about this dude."

DISPATCH (V.O.)
"Copy that, 211. Keep an eye, approach with caution."

OFFICER O'BRIEN
(smirks)
"You always got a bad feeling, Sarge."

SGT. WILLIAMS
(grimly)
"This one’s different, kid."

Jimmy steps closer to the platform edge as a train approaches, squeezing the straps of his backpack tighter. Suddenly, he spots the two cops eyeing him. His face tightens.

JIMMY (muttering to himself)
"Not today..."

INT. SUBWAY PLATFORM – SECONDS LATER

The train screeches into the station. Doors hiss open. People flood in. Jimmy quickens his pace, heading toward the back of the car. Williams and O'Brien close in from opposite sides.

SGT. WILLIAMS
(into radio)
"Suspect’s on the move. He’s boarding the northbound train."

DISPATCH (V.O.)
"Copy that. Be advised, possible explosive device in play. Proceed with extreme caution."

OFFICER O'BRIEN
(gritting his teeth)
"Are we really doing this, Sarge?"

SGT. WILLIAMS
(nods)
"We stop him before he gets a chance to do anything stupid."

The doors are about to close when Williams and O'Brien make a split-second decision. They both sprint toward the train car, barely sliding in as the doors slam shut. Jimmy turns around. Their eyes meet. The chase is on.

INT. SUBWAY CAR – MOMENTS LATER

Jimmy bolts through the packed car, shoving passengers aside. His eyes lock on the emergency exit door between cars.

OFFICER O'BRIEN
(shoving past commuters)
"Hold it right there! NYPD!"

Jimmy doesn’t stop. He swings open the door between the cars and leaps to the next one. Williams and O'Brien follow, hot on his tail.

SGT. WILLIAMS
(barking orders)
"O'Brien, take the left! I’ll flank him on the right!"

OFFICER O'BRIEN
"Got it, Sarge!"

As they split up, Jimmy reaches into his backpack, fumbling with a small, blinking device—the bomb.

JIMMY
(under his breath)
"Almost there... just need to set the timer."

INT. NEXT SUBWAY CAR – CONTINUOUS

Williams crashes through the door, catching sight of Jimmy near the far exit. The train speeds through the dark tunnels, the lights flickering ominously.
