Quakes, and Trembles
From beneath her feet, it's been
Ages since she has risen from her

A Beautiful Queen destined for
greatness, but cursed for
Her eyes gazed upon a
Forsaken During a time and moment
Where kings and Queens were to live

with one another.
It was an eternal sin to
Gaze upon any but her
King and no other especially
A Forsaken who was the Ultimate


Warriors of the Kings
Army. Even though destined to
Be great it was a mortal
Sin for the two to gaze
upon one another, as the kings
Of the time were so fraught


With fear and jealousy.
Finally, enough time had passed
She could walk the Earth
Again without any fear of envious kings
In the court vying over her beauty.


More so now than ever
The eternal slumber had aged
Her ever so gracefully.
Her God had kept Layla's beauty
Intact as man's law is not God's


Law, and for any king
To think he trumps God’s law is
punishment in itself.
As she lifts the lid
And sees her beloved disfigured
And mummified she lets a loud


Shriek of laughter that
Echoes throughout the tomb, catching
The ear of David
Working deep in the catacombs.
Which at this point is more of an
elaborate


Never-ending maze of
Tombs, and Treasures for
The taking. Will David make it out alive
with his soul intact? David has
No idea the trouble he is
About to find himself in with David's
