The pain of failure
The old woman was near death. I could hear her try to draw in painful gasps of breath. I felt helpless as a doctor in this remote part of the world. Was there nothing I could do?
The hospital's silent air was so thick I could cut it with a knife. I the best doctor in the city was the only one who could save her. the nurses that surrounded me were only amateurs starting the Job I felt like I was alone.
Hopeless at the deteriorating sound of the heart beat. I felt like all hope was lost, my heart started beating faster and I wondered how I got this job. I would have only settled for a less stressful job like maybe a cashier or a bakery shop owner.
By the time she gave up the ghost my heart stopped my hands shaking as if it was I who killed her. I opened my eyes and realized it was all a dream
