A LESSON FOR TREES(flash fiction)
*Flash fiction* : Flash fiction is a genre of fiction, defined as a very short story. While there is no set word count that separates flash fiction from more traditional short stories, flash fiction stories can be as short as a few words(while short stories typically run for several pages).
Raghu, a frail-looking man, lived once upon a time. He had pale eyes, and his body required food. Raghu was dying of poverty. Lack of food had numbered his days. Sleeping on an empty stomach was never easy. A tree's heartfelt sympathy for Raghu compelled it to offer him help. The tree stretched out its fruit-laden branch and barged into Raghu's house, but this show of kindness displeased Raghu. He cut it off with an ax.
"What do we make of this short?" the teacher asked his students.
One brilliant mind replied: "Never help without being asked for it." "That's it for today! I hope you all understand the point," said the teacher, addressing his class affectionately.
