It is not easy to be a human being
It's even harder to be a man of knowledge and action.
This is the iron law facing human beings
No one wants to be breached
No one wants to be looked down upon
This is also the truth
It's been true since the beginning of time
After all, people like to save face
They like to be superior to others
This is true for scholars
It's true for military generals.
So do people from all walks of life
They don't talk about it.
In their hearts, they know
It's different when you're more capable than others
At the end of the day, you're just enjoying a cup of dirt.
But when you're alive.
I like to compare myself with others.
People all over the world
The ones who like to save face the most
It's the scholars and scholars
Even the slightest difference
They have it down to a science
In everything they say and do
It's all about how to say "ding" and "dong

You have to be gentle and humble.

就喜欢处处与人相比争个高低贵贱
要说天下之人
最喜欢讲究一个面子的
就得算文人学者之流
哪怕就那么一丁点的差异
也拿捏得恰到好处
讲个话做个事
都讲究个丁是丁卯是卯
即便是一字一词一音的分解
也非得不温不火不卑不亢才是
可这得修养有多深
每每与那些高山仰止者相见
就会分出高下来了
腹有诗书气自华
厌伴老儒烹瓠叶
强随举子踏槐花
囊空不办寻春马
实在令多少文人墨客为之倾倒
放射出无限魅力的光彩
