Red Dawn (Chapter Four)
Hades Couldn't believe his eyes, his hand shaking as he read the note in it for the fifth time.
"How could he do this?", he thought to himself, unsure how to handle this. on the one hand he wanted to track him down and beat his ass, but on the other hand this ment he was now the CO (Commanding Officer) of this team, which ment it was his job to continue with the mission. With a reluctant sigh, he got up, pulled on his uniform, and went out to greet his team. Everyone, including Larrisa despite his protests, was geared up for another long day of tracking down their missing crew. Suddenly their COMs crackled to life with a message from the "Mother Ship", a.k.a the Star Jumper, "Attention all GA members that hear this. Head to a town called Du'an. We, along with survivors have established a safe zone around the town and are attempting to begin repairs to return to New Earth. We will continue to run this message every hour on the hour", then it was gone.
Larrisa quickly got out a map and found the quickest route there. It'd take a full two weeks, and as long as they only stopped at night to rest then they would be there in no time. They agreed to switch off every day so it's not so much on Bolovara, and with stail but still eatable food and water, they wouldn't need to stop for a bit, unless they came across more GA troops.
Now on the road, Hades wasn't sure what to do, so he sat down beside Larrisa, who he noticed was hiding behind her hair, something she did when she was having negative self thoughts, mostly regarding her looks.
Hades moved closer till their thighs lightly touched, put his arm gently around her, then leaned close and whispered, "I love you my darling", in french which made her smile and blush like always. She gently brushed her hair out of her face, then leaned back against him so he could wrap his arms around her. He liked seeing her happy, and despite the damage, he still thought she was beautiful.

Larrisa was still in a lot of pain, but now leaning against Hades with his arms around her nmade her feel a little bit better. They were watching "Flushed Away", and while he didn't laugh Hades did chuckle. At some point he leaned forward and very carefully kissed her cheek, which did sting a little but that was over shadowed by the joy she felt in her heart, and soon she began to drift off into a dreamless slumber...
When she awoke, Hades was asleep too, but he hadn't moved an inch where as she was now curled up in his lap and arms, not that he seemed to mind. She also noticed that the sun was starting to set on the horizon.
"Evening. How are you feeling?", Petrov asked from the adjacent couch.
"Still sore but overall alright. What about you?", she replied with a kind smile. She was rather fond of Petrov, mostly cause despite his people being few and far between he still enlisted into the GA, leaving behind a wife and two daughters who no doubt where worried about him.
"I feel the same. Though Hades and everyone still talk with me and are kind so it is not so bad", he said with a hearty smile.
"You love him?", he asked, not rudely but like a friend making small talk.
"I do, more than I thought I could", she replied without hesitation.
After a little bit longer she woke Hades, and with a sleepy smile he leaned close and kissed her gently to avoid hurting her busted lips. It still stung a bit, but again she ignored it out of love for him and cause she knew he really wasn't trying to hurt her.
"Hey Larrisa, can you help me with dinner?", Doc asked from the kitchen area.
Reluctantly, Larrisa got up and began opening bags of instant mashed potatoes and a large can of corn which was difficult due to a sudden blurriness in her vision. She began to feel very light headed and before she knew it she was laying on the ground, everything moving in slow motion to her as Hades yelled at Bolovara to pull over as he ran to her, Doc carefully rolling her over and shining a light in her eyes which seemed way too dim, then darkness surrounded her, cutting out all noise...

It was late when she awoke in the room again, her head throbbing painfully and the light only made it worse. Hades was sitting in a chair in the corner, his head in his hands and a ciggerett burning in his hand since there was a window right by him that he opened.
"Hey, what's wrong love?", she asked quietly.
His head shot up, and from the looks of it he'd just finished crying which surprised her greatly. Of all the things she's seen him do, this was by far the strangest.
He wiped his eyes and with a tired smile said, "Nothing, now that your finally awake".
He turned on the light, but then quickly shut them off again when she wince.
"Sorry baby", he said quickly.
Something was wrong.
"Darling, how long was I out for?", she asked calmly.
He hung his head a little as he replied with, "Two days".
She was taken back by this, not sure what to say.
"I'm gonna go get Doc, have her look you over. I'll be right back", he stated before quietly...
