COVID-19 is the howl of the devil,
An Attempt of invasion on civil,
Scrunching the humanity,
Sacrosanct god declared war against this insanity,
Deploying the Galant knights in white coats,
Some healing the sick and others looking for antidotes.

Doing 24hours shift, always at risk
Family was no more on priority list,
Sacrifice, devotion, diligence and fervor is all I could enlist,
Like angels fighting for the souls of the ill,
& Won't surrender until their duty is fulfilled.

The days are harsh and nights tougher,
As when one succumbs, doctors did too suffer,
Still Ray of happiness flickers,
When hail and hearty patients hug their loved ones.
But amidst this even the god suffered casualties,
Those angels became martyrs during the time of atrocities.

A Salute to the frontlines hero, who stood between life and death like an unbreakable wall. When the world was pushed into their homes, they were the ones who stepped out in this chaos.
Long shifts, sleepless nights, cumbersome protective gears and many more problems which can bring a chill in your spine due to fear. They managed it all for not letting death loiter anyway near.
It's been months when they haven't seen their family yet have done all the efforts to make the wardroom lively.
When they lost a patient , it even brought them tears or when one returned home, they were elated to bring the parted near.
They are the selfless heroes who put their lives at stake.
My aches on thinking that even the Galant heroes became martyrs who were taken by the angels back to heaven quoting," You did a great job to humanity, I'm proud of you,dear!"
