Blurred face man
Tears stained my face as I breathlessly sat on my bed. It's 2:36am, as usual. Around this time, the same dream occur my mind...
---{the dream}---
I'm running down the meadow next to the cottage where my friend told me to go get something. I keep looking around but I don't see the item which she was asking me to take. As I walked lower, closer to the threes, I saw a narrow path that leads deep into the forest. Suddenly a man appeared next to me with a blurred face. But I didn't felt uncomfortable, I feel like I know him somehow. We walked down closer to the forest beneath us, closer to the narrow path. We kept talking about random things, but as we stepped on the narrow path, suddenly the ground seemed to crumble down from under our feet, and if there were no roots which protruded from the ground we would fall into pitch black void. The man's arm kept a tight grip around my waist and he managed to pull me up to a safer place. I tried to help him get at the place where I was, but I couldn't pull him up, and it almost looked like he wasn't even trying to get up to me. I screamed helplessly and before I could come up with an idea on how to get him up, I only saw a hint of a smile on his blurred face. Before I knew it, he let go of the roots and fell down into darkness faster than lightning. My eyes watered and my breathing was unsteady and then-
---
I snapped out of that dream. My body voluntarily sat down on the bed I was lying on a while ago with swear and tears streaming down my face. Always the same dream, with no idea who the mysterious-blurred-face-man could be. But why in my dream does it feel like I know that man very well? Why did I cried so hard while thinking that I lost him forever even though it looked like we have just meet?...
Whoever you are, you are stuck in my head every night. I think of you every time and I keep wondering when will you show me your face. But the main thing is, why do you keep showing me signs that I might lose you?....
