I am all set to give my dad a little surprise, since we couldn't celebrate his birthday together. I thought I could surprise him by baking a cake.

Dad should be here any minute, I should definitely hurry up. Hope he loves my surprise as he loves my baking. I know ever since mum..it hasn't been the same, we lost her too soon. He doesn't celebrate much, except my birthday.
He deserves to be happy...He is the BEST DAD indeed!!.

20 mins later
The door bell rings. I run to get it and instantly hug my dad.
"Hey kiddo"dad says hugging me too
"Dad, I have been waiting!",I reply
"Flight got a little delayed..."dad said
"How was it?"I ask
"It was good anyways!"he shrugs. "Now please.."he nudges me to get his luggage

"Oh sure! But..before I help, I would like to know if...only if.."I ask tentatively
"It has more of your stuff than mine, so don't worry. I got you presents..hehe"he replied laughing
"Really?"I ask dad getting giddy
"Yes sweetie! Always hungry for presents as usual.."he smiles

"I'm hungry for presents"I laugh
"Haha just like your mother"dad laughs
"Haha..Awww dad! You really are THE BEST!!!"I say. He nudges me to get his luggage. I hug him again...
