The footsteps following me sounded closer. I ran through the empty corridors of the hospital, my heart pounding with terror. I turned a corner and stopped short. I had reached a dead end. The only thing in front of me was a large, rusted metal door. I tried to push it open, but it wouldn't budge. That's when I heard it. A low, guttural growl coming from behind me.

"Who's there?" I called out, my voice shaking with fear.

No answer. The growling got louder,...
