FROET NOT RATHER FEAR GOD!
*FRET NOT BUT RATHER FEAR GOD.*
_Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope._
In today's scripture, God was telling the Israelites who had gone into captivity that after they had completed 70 years in exile He will save them and restore them. This is because, He still cared for them though they we disobedient unto Him and it caused them to go into captivity.
God said in Jeremiah 29:13 that, “And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” This tells us that, God still cared for the Israelites who were disobedient and we serving the Babylonians as a result. So He cares for you and I too but it doesn't mean we should love careless Christian lives rather we must fear Him and depart from whatever displeases Him (evil).
God is just so even when Israel whom He loved committed many sins against God, He punished them. So let's fear God because he is love. He has wonderful plans for us. Don't fret rather fear God. Amen!
