Me and My Mischievous Friends -Monkeys!!
I spent my Childhood in small villages or can even call FORESTS. My Parents were working in Mines. They had transferrable job and Accomodations were also provided by the Mines.

We used to live in Big houses. These Bungalows used to have big gardens, too.
Coconut Trees, plenty of Mango Trees, Guava Tree, Jackfruit Tree, Banana Trees, Grapes Tree, Fig Tree to name the few were occupying our garden. Then, we had many Flowering plants, too. I have yet to see the variety of Roses in a single garden than our Garden. We had Red, Pink, Orange, Black, Green, Blue, then hybrids, too. This garden was home to many others, too. Snakes, 🐿️ (Squirrels), 🦂 (Scorpions), 🐸 (Frogs) were the few Reptiles staying there, but everyone were staying in harmony, at least in Birshingpur. They had plenty of things to feast on, so didn't disturb each other (at least that's what I feel).

We had a big Angan (courtyard) too, outside the Kitchen. Monkeys were our frequent visitors. Like in Summer Vacations, my Brother and myself were locked in the 🏠 by our servants, to protect us from the Summer heat, so couldn't go to the garden to see other Animals, but Monkeys did visit the Angan. So, they were our constant companions. We used to start our first meal of the day (Breakfast) with Bread and Jam, many a times and I used to hand over a Bread with Jam applied, to my dear friends at times. Otherwise they would have taken from our plates, but my Brother didn't mind even that. My brother often used to say "Tere bahut nakhre hai", but I needed some space and my dear friends were aware of that, so they weren't so close to me, as they were to my Brother.

When we used to visit the garden, that was before Noon or after 5 p.m, we often used to sit on trees, Mango trees in particular.
I used to sit on lower branches, so my friends used to get Fruits for me and just handover to me. I used to wash them, before eating and they used to make Fun of me, by showing their Teeth and the Fruits, they were having without washing. Language was never a barrier in our communication. Such was our Life, still miss those days.

My Mother was working as a Doctor in the Mining Hospitals and Father was a Mining Engineer. So, each one used to come 🏡 at their own timings. Mummy used to cook Food, feed us, eat and keep my Father's food in Tiffin Carriers. And at times, these Monkeys used to enter the kitchen and feast on my Father's food, that too without permission. I used to be annoyed, for my Mother used to manage households in between her Clinical hours. And at times, they even managed to take away my clothes put on hangers, after being washed, as if to irritate me more. Then those clothes were later found in the garden. But natural, I used to be upset by their behaviour and stopped seeing them, so did try to stop my Brother, too. I found them too ill-mannered to be our Friends. Once, on such days, as my Mummy was coming from the Hospital in the afternoon, one of them threw a MANGO on my Mummy, as if sending for us. I couldn't maintain distance any longer.

Today, as I saw a post in this App, about Mango trees, remembered my Friends and thought of sharing.
