Gratitude

We all want a happy life. A cushy job, a perfect family, financial stability, and a great social life! And in this indefinite pursuit of happiness that is almost like a mirage, how often do we spare a minute to thank what we have at this very moment?

Today I want us all to practise gratitude, I want all of you who read this message to enjoy the result of gratitude.

In positive psychology, gratitude is a human way of acknowledging the good things in life.

Simple practices like maintain a gratitude journal, complimenting self or sending small tokens and thankyou notes can make us feel a lot better and enhance our mood immediately.

We all give thanks to our mom when it is mother's day but we should acknowledge that we are here because of her, our biggest supporter, we should cherish her every day...

So, today we can take our time to give gratitude for our mom (our precious person in the whole world) by saying whatever we wish to say which can make her happy or do something to change her mood like

- Turning off your phone for the day to show her she has your undivided attention.
- Take her shopping for all those hours she spent with you at the mall.
- Gather a list of all the things you, your friends and family members appreciate about your mom to show her she is loved.
- Take her out to dinner to give her a break from cooking.
