NOTE TO SELF
Getting to know your significant other isn't what couples wake up one day and realize that they wanna do all over again. First comes denial of the fact that you may have actually allowed enough time to pass that your significant other has changed and without you being aware of it. Than come the reality that change is going to happen in two people's lives with or without you. Next comes the hard truth that you may or may not have messed up a few times along the way to help to contribute to this distance that stands so widely between the two. Finally the decision and feelings on how, when, if there is even a chance it can be repaired.
Love isnt suppose to be quick and fast moving. Respect is what builds strength in a relationship. History is what molds the two lives into one beating heart. Trust is what in the end will keep the two together, which will make it also very hard to break away from if it doesn't work out. It's very important in a relationship, from experience, to give 100% of your dedication to being supportive even when you disagree, or Not say hurtful words that can never be unsaid. Resentment isn't a easily healed wound like trust it's tough to earn and even tougher to gain back. Question is do they fight for it....and how?
