She chose her cleanest piece of clothing to wear. It was a festival afterall and she wanted to celebrate with everyone else. When she stepped into the street a speeding car drove by splashing dirty water on her.
A tear fell down her cheek. "The poor had no right to celebrate, " she thought to herself sulking. She walked all the way to the festival so that she would let the dress dry itself in the sun. When she was nearly getting there, she realised that her dress was completely dry though it had a huge brown stain on it that she was sure one could see from afar.
She reached the festival venue and before she entered she took a deep breath in and out and told herself, "don't let that incident bring you down kuhu, you woke up ready to have fun and enjoy yourself for the first time since your parents passed away and you know they wouldn't let you sulk all day in here, enjoy yourself and remember the good times you spent together at this festival, smile and be happy, that's what they would want."
