You Killed Her
"You are the witness of the murder case everyone's talking about, right?" asked the man who's standing in front of me.

I nodded. "Yes. I am the witness, Sir."

"You saw the crime?" He asked me again.

"Yes. Clearer than you expected, Sir," I answered.

"Can you tell us what you've exactly saw in the crime scene?"

"I saw it! She was stabbed a lot of times with a knife. First, in her feet, then in her arms... in her eyes, and ears. Blood spilled. For the last time, she shouted my name, waiting for me to save her, but it's too late because the killer was holding her tight. She shouted again and called my name."

A tear escaped from my eyes as I continued.

"She has more to say but she felt cold, tired, and plunging into a deep sleep. With that, I saw a flash through the nozzle. She was shot in the head. Looking up at the sky, with a hail of bullets, and with her last breath.... she uttered the words "Hail and Farewell," I finished my statement.

"So, who killed her?" the man asked.

The people around us became silent, waiting for me to reveal the killer.

"YOU!" I answered, referring to the man in front of me.

"You killed her! I saw you!"

The people around us were shocked, but I wasn't lying. I am telling the truth.

"I saw the crime, clearly. You stabbed her!" I paused.

"You stabbed her with your greediness, with your racism, sexism—discrimination! PREJUDICE!"

"With your egomania, pride and madness! You shot her with your sternness! You killed her with your power!"

"You killed her, Sir."

I can't stop the tears falling from my eyes—tears of joy because I did it!

"I did it, Peace..." I whispered.

The man knelt in front of the crowd. "I'm sorry. Please forgive me! I didn't mean to kill her."

"It's too late, Mr. Humanity!" The people answered in chorus.

Yes. The man in front of me is "Humanity" and the one he just killed is "Peace."

HUMANITY KILLED PEACE.

So, here I am.... telling the truth because...

I am...

"JUSTICE."
