True love is wanting the best for someone, even if that doesn't include you - are the apt words ever said.

The moment that you realise that you love someone, they say, is deemed to be a life changing moment. I'd disagree with it, solely for the reason that, being in love is a continuous involuntary process, just like your breath. There are certain emotions in life you have no control over. Anger, rage, hatred, trust, love, care, and the list goes on. Unlike all other emotions, love is something that is not situational, it is a personification of the subconscious feelings that we have for a person. Love is just love, no rights no wrongs, no highs no lows, it's a never ending exponential curve. 

I have heard people saying that they have fallen out of love, but according to me, you can never unlove a person. If you love someone, that love will always be there, be it in the forefront or in the deepest recesses of your heart. One might question, then why do people drift off apart if they are so in love?? I feel, people drift apart, not because they are no longer in love, it's because they choose to ignore the issues that are causing them to drift apart. 

I have heard quite a lot of people speaking on Love. But one question always has haunted me, "Can you love someone enough to let them go?" Is love truly defined by confining the other person to our own selfish interests. We get so deep in love sometimes that we hardly fail to understand that, Loving someone is all about seeing them happy, seeing them content, seeing them achieve success, seeing them blossom into the person that they truly deserve to be. 

"I made it, I got through, and I need to be there soon" is what he told me one fine evening. I was truly happy, in fact I have never been happier to see that he's on the right path to his destiny. The downside of it is that he's moving far, no doubt, the distance would increase, but am I ready to take the leap of faith?? Am I ready to let go inspite of loving him more than anything and anyone?? 

Then an inner voice quietly whispered, "When you truly love someone, you got to let them be, true love blossoms when it's let free, n not when it's confined."
When you know that someone is yours no matter what, you need to wish the best for them. Cuz at the end of the day, your heart knows that they would come back to you, cuz you are their Home and their Happy Place, no matter what.
