Flames of Memories

The picture in the frame held a lot of memories. Some good, some sad. Her tired eyes roamed over it one last time before she tossed it in the fire. It was time to start afresh. she won't allow herself to get dragged to the past. Not this time, or any other time. She has worked hard to get to this point and she can't jeopardize the little happiness she now has.
"Everything would be different" were the last words that came out from her mouth when Billy left her. And she will definitely keep that promise.
She picked some of the letters sitting on the table, and one by one, she began to open the letter that were now covered in dust.
It's been five years she visited and she hate herself for that.
But none of it is her fault....
