I read it once, then twice. I wasn't imagining it - I had won the lottery!I had mixed feelings i.e I didn't know on how to react.This was a dream come true and thus was to open a new chapter in my life.I took a confirmation test by dialing the numbers written on the letter.The receptionist of the company confirmed my doubts that I had won one billion shillings.
I was to report the following day to the lottery company.I felt chills because I knew I would be live on tv.The good thing is that they assured me of my security.The following day was a bright morning full of sunshine and green vegetation.i opened my bedroom curtains then dashed to prepare myself.After half an hour i called for a taxi that took me to town.On arrival there was a warm feeling because everyone was anxious to see me.The air was full of congratulatory remarks.Journalists were all over taking photos and waiting to interview me.After the celebration ,I was to go on a vacation for a week in the United kingdom.It was such an adventure;boarding an aeroplane and being in a new country.After my short holiday I had my money deposited in my account. Reality strucks my mind !I was a changed person..to be continued..
