In The Woods
I found a wolf, whimpering in the woods
I walked with oak trees, densely positioned
Gathering wildflowers to take home with me
And just off in the distance, howling past the rivers edge
I hear a call of distress, and so I forged my way into the wild
Curiosity settled down in my bones
And much like a compass searching for north, I dart my eyes all around in wonder
Following it's cries throughout the landscape previously untouched. My feet pressed upon land I get up and go
My senses have left me and now I am running
At full speed and stupidly looking...
