Nature speaks...literally.
The talk show.
(He sits facing another chair)
CADOC: Hello and welcome to Nature Speaks talk show. Here on this stage we interview the so called 'things' around us and see if there is anything we could learn from their experiences in their life. We have here our very first guest. He's Mr. Oil.
OIL: Hello everybody (waves)I'm glad you could have me for your first episode.
CADOC: You're welcome. Mr.Oil is an expert in cooking, he is the manager of Fry Me Company and is very influencing figure in the cooking world. Okay Mr.Oil, what do you have for us humans today?
OIL: I would like to relate what happened to me before I became 'Mr.Oil'. The first time I was about to enter the frying pan, I must admit I was a bit too proud, arrogant and all. I would shout and jump in the pan when I felt the heat. That was my problem.
CADOC: You mean... that was how you showed your haughtiness and self importance?
OIL: Exactly. It was because I thought I was the only thing going in the pan. I didn't know I had a purpose in being in the pan. Then other foods like the eggs and the peas and others started showing up. I was like 'oh okay I'm not the most important guy in this pan'.
CADOC: What did you find the purpose of your being in the pan to be?
OIL: I realized my purpose was to make the foods placed in me to become the better versions of themselves. To make them smell good, tasty ,attractive all that. I realized it was not about me,me,me all the time. it was about others too. I think humans can learn that too.
CADOC: Thank you for sharing. It's been a pleasure.
OIL: The pleasure is all mine.
CADOC: There you have it folks. Something new to learn. Join us next time on Nature Speaks. Thanks for reading. And take care,Corona is out there.(pause) That rhymes doesn't it?
OIL: Yeah it actually does.
CADOC: Yes it does. See you soon. (waves at camera)
