SCOPE OF DHARMA:

We need to understand that Dharma (the righteous duty) is not merely a defined set of codes of conduct. Considering the fact that all principles of jurisprudence, including the defined set of laws and codified laws with their application seen in the modern rule of law, are also reflected in the Dharma Shastra and Artha Shastra, what sets Dharma apart is its visionary ability to see things the way they are, transcending the limitations of the sensory perception that comes with the complete surrender to the supreme divine of the cosmos as well as surrendering to the different faces of the supreme divine in terms of local gods and goddesses made accountable for the different parts of mother earth.
