"Chronic Worrier"

Samuel to Saul: When you leave me today, you will meet two men near Rachel’s tomb, at Zelzah on the border of Benjamin. They will say to you, ‘The donkeys you set out to look for have been found. And now your father has stopped thinking about them and is worried about you. He is asking, “What shall I do about my son?” ’
1 Samuel 10:1‭-‬2 NIV

Now, Saul's father was a man named Kish and Kish like parents have a tendency to do was worried about his child, worried about his Son.

He went from being worried about the whereabouts of some donkeys, to being worried about his Son.

He went from one worry to another. Instead of taking a moment to process the good news that the donkeys had been found...He just stop thinking about that and turned his worry immediately to his Son.

Job in Chapter 1: He was worried that his children had sinned against God. So, he gave sacrifices on their behalf, just in case.

You see, Worry is a drug they're addicted to. They don't know how not to worry. No small victories are celebrated...Instead, they worry about things they have no proof of.

Beloved, If any of this describes you.
Then, Guess what? You are a Chronic Worrier.

Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself.”
Matt 6:34 TPT

In other words, there will always be something to worry about, if you allow yourself to worry.

SOMEBODY: Worry is something you allow, something you give in to, when you don't know what to do.

Learn to deal with challenges as they come, one day at a time without making any assumptions.

Learn to celebrate the small victories that happen for you...In doing so, it will alleviate some of the worry.

Learn to apply faith to every situation, including things concerning your children.

Give your children, your teenaged children, your grown children (especially) to the Lord.

AND Practice not being anxious, but practice giving God thanks in all things. Philip 4:6
Not because all things are pleasant , but because God is still worthy in the midst of all things.
