Samual's Day
Good day to you; My name is Samuel, I live in a cave by a silver river in a magical forest. I love this giant Oak tree I am sitting on. I love my tree but I only go as high as mommy tells me. My sister Daisy like to try to go higher, but she fell once so she stays with mom.
Mom is not too far away, she is in the river fishing. Daisy is with her trying to fish herself but hasn't caught anything, EVER! When they are fishing it's my job to keep watch in the tree. When I go fishing it is Daisy job to keep watch from the tree. When we are all fishing mom is on watch and we are mostly splashing and playing.
Hey! Mom caught a big fish, you know what that means? Big dinner tonight. I have to go down and help with the fish. By the time I got there Daisy had caught her first fish! Now if I go and catch a fish that would be a fish for everyone.
I carefully walked into river and waited patiently by the waterfall. Soon there was a group jumping up the waterfall, I pounced to grab one and slid down the falls splashing in the pool below. Mom and Daisy laughed at me while I shook the water from my ears. It was funny so I started laughing too and splashing water all over them. Mom then took her very big paw and laughing splashed both Daisy and I with one wave of the paw.
Wait! I see something! I put my head under the water and WOW lots of fish swimming. I got back to the waterfall, I was surely going to catch my own fish. Patiently waiting the fish started jumping and so did I, back and forth across the top of the waterfall.
Hey! Hey! I caught one! Just in time too, it's dinner time. We all sat in a circle on the shore and ate our yummy in my tummy fish. After dinner mom laid down and told us to go get berries for dessert. So we did. Daisy was already an expert on ripe or not ripe and poisonous or not, so I followed her. She found a large group of huckleberries, we ate them right off the tree. We ate till we couldn't eat anymore.
We ventured back to Mom slowly because now we were full and tired. Mom was laying on her back basking in the light of the evening. So we laid on each side of her as she wrapped her arms around us and we took a nap before we headed back to our cave for the night to rest up and do it again tomorrow.
I am tired now.
Goodnight
