Genuine Friends.....
One day our professor in the class asked us a question. The question was, "How many of you are still connected to your childhood friends or your school friends? ". From among the 120 students sitting there, only eight to ten raised their hands in a yes.

Our professor said, " Look at the rest of you. This is the situation of your generation. The friends that you make in your childhood and your school time are your real friends. The friends with whom you are sharing your seats now, you won't even call each other once the course is over. Shame on all of you, you are the kids of a lost generation."

But before making such a huge statement, probably our professor failed to think in a different direction.

Not every child is lucky enough to have someone as a friend in their childhood. Not every child gets to stay at the same place and school during their school education. And who says that your school friends are your well wishers, always.

Maybe she said so because she might have thought that when we are a child, we are innocent and hence our friendships reflect that innocence.

But in my experience, I have seen good and bad friends during my childhood, school times and also in my college life.

The humblest of the friends that entered my life, they all belong to my college years. Our ways have parted, but we keep checking on each other. So I disagree with her point of view.

Genuine friendships can be forged at any age, but it would happen when both parties are caring, humble and loving. And such beautiful hearts are timeless, they exist everywhere and your paths will collide when it is meant to be.
