Awake(Chapter 4)

Chapter 4
I look on my phone and of course as i supspected she is begging to come over. I start typing my awnser not really paying attention its kinda just by memory, my thumbs moving lightning speed. I say, "the party hasnt even started yet" i click enter. And wait staring at the phone, waiting for her to respond. "Ik but we could totally hang out. I can even help you set up decorations!!😁😁😊😋😍☺😚" she really does love to use emojis i think to myself. "Well ok, see u when you get here" since she lives only a few blocks away she can just easliy walk to my house. Weve been friends ever since elementary school. I didnt have any friends and she just came up to me and asked if i wanted to be friends. I dont really get why she loves hanging out with me so much, shes always very high energy and outgoing, while im the opposite. Nevertheless we are still very close and are bffs. I go downstairs to tell mom emily is coming over early, i didnt bother asking her because i already knew she wouldnt care much. Mom has always been very laid back and dosent ever care if i bring any friends over. I decide to just stay in the living room because i know it only be like 3 minutes before she gets here. I look at all the decorations mom has put up. She has streamers. table cloth, napkins balloons, everything you could possibly think of she had it. I didnt really care that much if she put up decorations but mom has always loved going all out. Mabye its because im her only child. Then i hear the doorbell ring, i open the door and emily steps right in, "OH MY GOD it looks so good already!!!" Mom comes out from the hallway. " im glad you like it." I see shes carrying a packet of balloons. "So me and emily were wanting to help decorate." Mom holds out the balloons in her hands, "well in that case, you girls can blowup these. Theres also a balloon blower upper thingy that i got if you wanna use that." I take the balloon packet and she also gives us the air pumper thing, im not even sure if thats whats it called and me and emily take a seat on the couch and start blowing up the balloons, taking turns using the air pump.
