In order to be great and successful in life, it is necessary to follow the special qualities and benevolent deeds of the previous great and successful people.
But it is absolutely inappropriate to imitate the previous successful people without considering the environmental situation.
Because, doing so is more evil than good.
For example: I like Emperor Aurangzeb because of his knowledge, justice, diligence, public welfare work, law making etc. But I have no tendency to be an emperor like him.
I like Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru for his historical writings and moderate politics. But I do not have the tendency to be the Prime Minister like him.

জীবনে মহান ও সফল হতে হলে পূর্ববর্তী মহান ও সফল ব্যক্তিদের বিশেষ গুণ ও কল্যাণময় কাজের অনুসরণ অবশ্যই দরকার।
কিন্তু পূর্ববর্তী সফল ব্যক্তিদের পরিবেশ পরিস্থিতি বিবেচনা না করেই হুবহু অনুকরণ করা একেবারেই অনুচিত।
কেননা, এমনটা করলে ভালোর চেয়ে মন্দই হয় বেশি।
যেমন : সম্রাট ঔরঙ্গজেবকে তিনির জ্ঞান, ন্যায়বিচার, কর্মনিষ্ঠা, জনকল্যাণ মূলক কাজ, আইন প্রণয়ন প্রভৃতি গুণের কারণে আমার ভালো লাগে। কিন্তু তিনির মত সম্রাট হওয়ার কোন প্রবণতা আমার মধ্যে নাই।
পণ্ডিত জওহরলাল নেহেরুকে তিনির ঐতিহাসিক রচনা ও মধ্যপন্থী রাজনীতির কারণে ভালো লাগে। কিন্তু তিনির মত প্রধানমন্ত্রী হওয়ার প্রবণতা আমার নাই।
