Suryaputra Karna: A Soul Never Reborn
A life was born in uncertain times,
Abandoned by his mother,he started his life,
Flowing through the river he met a guide,
Raised as a "Soot" but spark as sunshine.

King of Hastinapura was his reality,
But a charioteer in life became his identity,
Tragedies and insults were always on the way,
Yet,he picked up his bow and marched on his way.

A symbol of bravery was discovered in his eyes,
As he stepped in and accepted Arjuna's fight,
Unaware of the fact that they were brothers,
They walked and stood in front of each other.

Again,he was insulted as a "Soot putra",
Discarding him from his rights to fight,
When all of his hopes were about to end,
Duryodhana arrived as his friend.

A man of principles,A man of sacrifice,
Connected with curses throughout his life,
A loyal friend as Duryodhana's strength,
Decided to fight the 'Kurukshetra war'.

He accepted his truth with teary eyes,
And still not leave his friend's side,
He refused to let anyone know,
As he was proud to be called a
"Soot putra" .

Against his brothers with his mother's promise,
He sacrificed his life for his friend's pride,
With respect for him in everyone's eyes,
He was the greatest warrior to survive.

The last conversation between Krishna and Karna,
Is still remembered in our times,
Parshurama's salutation was a great honour before death,
Called him "Mrutyunjay"- the one who wins over death.
