As an addict noone really can understand
it's hard for anyone to help and lead them away from where they stand
confinement in their mind of an illusion
lead them to their undeniable confusion
there is no joy in this nightmare
so they numb themselves at the cost of others walfare
whispers creeping in and out from below
ever reminding you it's there just in case you didn't know
it won't come second or last but always play number one
you won't know the true colors of it's fate tell it's all said and done
whats life for if its always chasing to cover what one can't let go of
what's fate if this is all one will ever love
it has you chasing shadows in the darkest valley of ones heart
running to the finish line where morals and values begin to fade and hatred begins to start
relationships come and go with not s soul one could trust
it's all games lies and broken up people...
