Where does love rest
Throughout my whole being we lived
Through my lungs we breathed
Through my eyes we saw

You have grown inside me

A full life of
Joyous laughter
Lasting echoes illuminating the streets we have walked
Endless nocturnal conversations whilst
Our bodies heart to heart
And with every beat we
Flickered like a firefly underneath a starless sky
Still connected through every word uttered
Unfolding one secret after another of our
Being inside of me
And in the depths of who I am I still look
For the smallest sign of your fading light
Hope breaks my heart time after time
Our life unborn
Never to be
Falsly anticipated memories
Only there to grieve
And thus,
We both died inside of me
