In the end it was just me and my thoughts,
A painful trap, long after you were gone.
A realization of all the things
to you that I had done wrong.
A clear picture of it all
now starting to set in
if I had it to do over
I would have stayed by your side
until the very end
yet dwelling on the loss of you
will never fix a thing
so I'm finally gonna let
you go
and accept that you are
gone
for if I cant see through
to moving on then I will
never heal inside
so here's me setting free
all memories of you
and finally saying my goodbyes.
