the arts
cynically I view the world infront,
clinical approaches to friendships work,
critical mindsets force questions ignored,
creativity no one applauds.
it is a shame the type of world we live in,
where artists and theatres and musicians alike,
all underappreciated, dismissed as useless,
I cannot argue nor deny the essential vitality,
that a doctor does hold,
but to disregard,
to completely throw aside the value of the arts?
foolish. I can only think of it as foolish.
