In a world full of words, both long and short,
There's a tale that's been told, since the day of birth.
A tale of a writer, who penned down her heart,
But found that her words, were often ignored, from the start.
She'd write with a quill, or a pen, or a type,
But the people she met, would just pass her by,
Without a glance, without a second thought,
Her words, they'd say, were just a lot of naught.
But the poet, she didn't despair,
For she knew that her words were a rare find,
So she penned a poem, just for them,
A poem that would make them laugh, and learn, and climb.
