Sunflower
I was dried out and deserted
My leaves turning brown day by day
I longed for that one drop of water
I watched as the sun burnt down the beauty I had
Living me with just a memory
A memory of how pretty I was
A memory to be forgotten as I wilter.

They all thought I was dead
They looked at me with disgust
But deep within I was still alive
Still going on even though I looked like death himself,
I never lost hope
For I knew my season to bloom once again will come
As my dead leaves drops, I will grow new ones underneath
Blooming with bright colors
Bringing only joy to those who will stumble upon me.

They will fight one another, just to have a glance on me
My beauty will melt their hearts away
While they have regrets of abandoning me
When they all thought I was dead.

For every fall we take ,we grow a little more stronger than we were before
Preparing us for the big falls to come.
