I am Not an Artist
I'm not an artist.
Well, I don't think I am.
There is something so inherently sad about those who give little pieces of themselves to the things they create,
like little scraps of paper taped on a poster board.
I want to be like that.
I want to break off little pieces of myself and wrap them nicely in pretty packaging
But I do not feel like an artist.
Well, I don't think I do.
I'm far too selfish, to wish for fame, for glory, for retribution.
I want to be a martyr for all the wrong reasons.
I am not an artist.
